Regina Laba Walton is a poet, scholar, and teacher. Her poetry collection The Yearning Life won the Phyllis Tickle Poetry Prize and was published by Paraclete Press in 2016. Her poems and essays are forthcoming or have appeared in The EcoTheo Review, Paterson Literary Review, Asheville Poetry Review, Geez, Earth & Altar, Poetry East, and elsewhere. Her articles on literature and religion in the early modern period have appeared in The George Herbert Journal and Studia Liturgica. She serves as poetry editor of The Anglican Theological Review. An Episcopal priest, she is Denominational Counselor for Anglican/Episcopal and Lutheran students and a Lecturer at Harvard Divinity School.
